The Families Helping Families Food Pantry is a Woodin Elementary PTA run Food Bank that depends on the generous donations of the families at Woodin Elementary School.  Any and all donations are appreciated, and your generosity is respected and cherished by every family that utilizes this resource. With your help, we strive to make sure every child and their family has the food and toiletries that they need.

The food pantry also supplies our Totes to Go program, where children are sent home with food to help their family through the weekend. 

We accept all non-perishable foods that are not expired, please check the dates before donating.

Food that is in high demand:

  • Small jars of peanut butter (plastic jars preferred)
  • Bags of dried beans
  • Food high in protein and good vitamins

Other Items Needed:

  • Laundry detergent
  • Dish Soap
  • Bars of Soap
  • Shampoo/Conditioner
  • Deodorants
  • Toothpaste & Toothbrushes
  • Feminine Hygiene Products
  • Toilet Paper

Gift Cards are also accepted – Please give to Nurse Deb OR place in an envelope and put in the PTA Inbox (near the teacher inboxes) ATTN: Programs, and it will be given to the Chair Person of the food bank.
